Eleutherodactylus stictogaster Duellman and Hedges, 2005, Copeia, 2005: 533. Holotype: KU 291659, by original designation. Type locality: "Peru, Departamento de Pasco, Provincia de Oxapampa, 2.9 km north and 5.5 km east (airline) of Oxapampa, 10° 32′ 38″ S, 75° 21′ 10″ W, 2600 m elevation".

Distribution

Known only from three localities at elevations of 1470-2790 m on the Amazonian slopes of the Cordillera Oriental and on the slopes of the adjacent Cordillera Yanachaga in central Peru (Departamento Pasco).

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) unistrigatus group according to the original publication. Lehr, Lundberg, Aguilar, and von May, 2006, Herpetol. Monogr., 20: 123, provided comments on morphology and identification. In the Pristimantis peruvianus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 126; this reformulated as the Pristimantis danae species group by Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 125.
