Distribution

Known only from cloud forest on the Pacific slope of the Cordillera Occidental in La Planada Reserve, Nariño, Colombia, 1700–2020 m elevation.

Comment

Tentatively associated with Eleutherodactylus supernatis according to the original publication. See account by Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 135, who placed this species in the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) conspicillatus series, Eleutherodactylus devillei group. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) devillei species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 121.
