Eleutherodactylus turpinorum Hardy, 2001, Bull. Maryland Herpetol. Soc., 37: 25. Holotype: USNM 227815, by original designation. Type locality: "St. John Parish, 3.75 miles WSW of Charlotteville, on Northside (Bloody Bay) Road, at milepost 27.5", Tobago.

Lowland parts of northeastern Tobago Island, Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies.
Comment
Most similar to Eleutherodactylus riveroi according to the original publication. See comment under Eleutherodactylus rozei. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128. Not assignable to a species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 128.
