Eleutherodactylus wagteri Venegas, 2007, J. Herpetol., 41: 395. Holotype: MUSM 23050, by original designation. Type locality: "Ullilen (06° 50′ 32″ S, 77° 41′ 50.1″ W), 3000 m elevation, Provincia de Mariscal Caseres, San Martín Department, Peru".

Distribution

Vicinity of the Lake Los Cóndores in the Department of San Martín, as well as in the Departamento Amazonas at Vista Alegre, and San Pedro, Peru, 2800 to 3000 m elevation.

In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to the original publication; in Pristimantis by implication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128. Not assignable to a species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 128.
