Pristimantis lassoalcalai Barrio-Amorós, Rojas-Runjaic, and Barros-Blanco, 2010, Zootaxa, 2329: 4. Holotype: MHNLS 18898,, by original designation. Type locality: "Cerro Las Antenas, elevation 18270 m, 10°19′40.0′ N-72° 35′ 27.0′ W, Sierra de Perijá, Municipio Rosario de Perijá, estado Zulia, Venezuela".

Distribution

Creekside habitats in forest in the Cerro Las Antenas in Sierra de Perijá, 1827–1950 m elevation, in the state of Zulia, Venezuela, although possibly extending into adjacent Colombia.

Comment

In the Pristimantis unistrigatus group according to the original publication. Not assignable to a species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 127. See Barrio-Amorós, Rojas-Runjaic, and Señaris, 2019, Amph. Rept. Conserv., 13 (1: e180): 119, for comments on range and literature. Rojas-Runjaic, Echevarría, Becerra-Rondón, and Infante-Rivero, 2020, Zootaxa, 4778: 372–382, described the advertisement call and transferred to the species to Tachiramantis on the basis of molecular evidence.
