Distribution
Cloud forests on the eastern slopes of the Serrania del Perija in Norte de Santander, Colombia, and the adjacent region of the type locality (Guacharaquit) in Táchira, Venezuela.
Comment
In the Eleutherodactylus lentiginosus complex of the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to the original publication. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) conspicillatus series, not assigned to species group by Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 227. In the subgenus Pristimantis, but unnassigned to species group by Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 118, or Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 127.
