Dendrophryniscus carvalhoi Izecksohn, 1994 "1993", Rev. Brasil. Zool., 10: 478. Holotype: EI 4127, by original designation. Type locality: "Brasil: Espírito Santo, Santa Tereza".

Common Names

Carvalho's Tree Toad (Cassimiro and Rodrigues, 2008, Herpetol. Rev., 39: 362).

Distribution

Known from the type locality (Santa Tereza) and ca. 130 km southwest at the Parque Nacional do Caparaó, all in Espírito Santo, Brazil.

Related to Dendrophryniscus brevipollicatus according to the original publication. Cassimiro and Rodrigues, 2008, Herpetol. Rev., 39: 362, provided new records and commented on the range.
