Comment
See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 200. A Colombia locality (ca. 23 km south of Pasto, Nariño) was reported by Mueses-Cisneros, 2003, Caldasia, 25: 420, and who provided a short description. See comments by Cisneros-Heredia and Gluesenkamp, 2011 "2010", Avanc. Cienc. Ingen., Quito, Secc. B,, 2 (3): 64-73, who suggested that the Colombia record represents and unnamed species, as did Yánez-Muñoz, Altamirano-Benavides, Cisneros-Heredia, and Gluesenkamp, 2011 "2010", Avanc. Cienc. Ingen., Quito, Secc. B,, 2 (3): 46.
