Osornophryne percrassa Ruiz-Carranza and Hernández-Camacho, 1976, Caldasia, 11: 126. Holotype: ICN 319, by original designation. Type locality: "Páramo de Herveo, eastern flank of Cordillera Central, Município de Herveo, Departamento del Tolima, Colombia".

Common Names

Herveo Plump Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 45).

Distribution

Both slopes and central páramos of the Cordillera Central, departments of Antioquia, Tolima, Quindio, and Caldas, Colombia, 2700–3700 m elevation.
