Platymantis paepkei Günther, 2015, Vert. Zool., Dresden, 65: 102. Holotype. ZMB 80340, by original designation. Type locality: "near the road Fakfak Town – Kokas, Fakfak Mountains, 700 m above sea level (a.s.l.), 2° 50′ 36″ S and 132° 18′ 23″ E, Bomberai Peninsula, Papua Province, Indonesia".
