Allobates nidicola (Caldwell and Lima, 2003)
Colostethus nidicola Caldwell and Lima, 2003, Herpetologica, 59: 221. Holotype: INPA 8093, by original designation. Type locality: "from approximately 40 km S Manaus, elevation 50 m, Amazonas, Brazil (3° 37′ 10 S, 59° 86′ 78 W . . .), in the municipality of Castanho, at Km 12 on the road to Autazes, in leaf litter in lowland terra firme forest".

Distribution
Known from the type locality (ca. 40 km south of Manaus at km 12 on the road to Autazes, Municipality of Castanho, Amazonas, Brazil); also reported further upstream in the Madeira drainage in Rondonia in the vicinity of Porto Velho and as far southwest as Cachoeira do Jirau.
Comment
The original publication included external morphology, larval morphology, and vocalization. Simões, 2007, Herpetol. Rev., 38: 473, provided the second geographic record. Tsuji-Nishikido, Kaefer, Freitas, Menin, and Lima, 2012, Herpetol. J., 22: 105–114, compared the morphology and calls of this species with Allobates masniger. Kaefer, Simões, and Lima, 2012, Salamandra, 48: 122–124, provided the first records for Rondônia, Brazil.. Kaefer, Tsuji-Nishikido, and Lima, 2012, Acta Ethol., 15: 187–194, discussed advertisement call in comparison with Allobates masniger
