Allobates nunciatus Moraes, Pavan, and Lima, 2019, Zootaxa, 4648: 404. Holotype: INPA-H 40486, by original designation. Type locality: "on the east bank of Middle Tapajós River, municipality of Itaituba (05°09’07.1” S 56°27’35.2” W, 96 m asl), state of Pará, Brazil".

Non-flooded (terra firme) forests on the east bank of Middle Tapajós River and on both banks of the tributary Jamanxim River, Municipality of Itaituba, state of Pará, Brazil.

Most closely related to Allobates masniger and Allobates nidicola according to the original publication where external adult and larval morphology and advertisement call were described.
