Distribution

Known only from riparian forests along the west bank of the upper Madeira River, between the Jirau Waterfalls (now permanently submerged by the reservoir created by the Jirau Dam) and the type locality in the District of Vista Alegre do Abunã, Municipality of Porto Velho (Rondônia, Brazil).

Comment

In the Allobates albiventris complex and previously confused with that species and Allobates gasconi, according to the original publication, where a molecular tree (mt- an nu-DNA), comparative larval an adult morphology and morphometrics, and advertisement call were detailed.
