Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento de la Guajira, municipio de Uribia, corregimiento de Nazareth; vertiente nororiental de la Serranía de la Macuira, Parque Nacional Natural de Macuira, quebrada 'El Chorro' 780 m s.n.m.".
