Colostethus breweri Barrio-Amorós, 2006, Zootaxa, 1110: 61. Holotype: MHNLS 17044, by original designation. Type locality: "the entry of Cueva del Fantasma, northwestern slope of Aprada tepui, 05° 27′ N, 62° 27′ W, 660 m above sea level, Estado Bolívar, Venezuela".
