Distribution

Known from the type locality, in preserved forests on the Eiru River, a tributary of the Juruá River, near the Comunidade de Santo Antônio, municipality of Eirunepé, state of Amazonas, Brazil

Comment

In the Ranitomeya vanzolinii species group, and reviously referred to as Ranitomeya sp. Envira by Twomey, Melo-Sampaio, Schulte, Bossuyt, Brown, and Castroviejo-Fisher, 2023, Syst. Biol., 72: 1247–1261, and Ranitomeya aff. sirensis by Lima, Ferreira, Dantas, Ferrão, and Dayrell, 2024, Sapos de Eirunepé: 27, according to the original publication, where advertisement call, comparative adult and larval morphology and morphometrics, as well as molecular markers were detailed.
