Ranitomeya ichapama Brown, Geralds, Moraes, Granados-Martínez, von May, Muell, Guillory, and Twomey, 2026, Zootaxa, 5793: 48.  Holotype: OMNH 36062, by original designation. Distribution

Known from three localities in the western region of the Brazilian state of Acre and three in adjacent Peru.

Comment

Comparative adult morphology and molecular markers (mt- and nuDNA) detailed in the original publication, where it was noted that this species, a member of the Ranitomeya reticulata group and the sister taxon of Ranitomeya benedicta plus Ranitomeya cf. benedicta, and was previously confused with Ranitomeya uakarii. A dot map of the distribution was provided in the original publication.
