Colostethus atopoglossus Grant, Humphrey, and Myers, 1997, Am. Mus. Novit., 3212: 23. Holotype: UVC 12608, by original designation. Type locality: "from a stick just above the water in a vegetation-covered, trickling creek running along the side of the road, El Boquerón, 2200 m, Department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia, Cordillera Occidental, 4° 44′ N, 76° 18′ W".

Distribution

Known only from the stream and along the road at the type locality, 1800-2260 m elevation, Cordillera Occidental, on the border between the departments of Valle del Cauca and Chocó, Colombia.

Similar to Anomaloglossus lacrimosus (as Colostethus) according to the original publication.
