Rana arathooni Smith, 1927, Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1927: 207. Holotype: BMNH (formerly M. Smith 8627), by original designation, now BMNH 1947.2.1.26 (originally 1926.8.20.44) according to museum records. Type locality: "Djikoro, Mt. Bonthain, S. Celebes", Indonesia.
