Common Names
Cassiopeia Fanged Frog (original publication).
Distribution
Known from nine localities distributed around the interior foothills of the Cagayan River Valley of central and northern Luzon, Philippines, and in the foothills of the southern Sierra Madre Mountain range.

Comment
Previously confused with Limnonectes macrocephalus, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, morphometrics, molecular markers, and phylogenetic placement were detailed.
