Distribution
Bintang Range and eastern side of the Kinta Valley and Titiwangsa Range up to Gunung Tebu, Terengganu in the north, southward toward Ketumbar Hill, Kuala Lumpur and Tioman island, Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia.

Comment
Previously confused with Limnonectes hascheanus and Limnonectes limborgi, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, molecular markers, advertisement call, distribution (including a dot map), and natural history.
