Rana ingeri Kiew, 1978, Malayan Nat. J., 31: 223. Holotype: FMNH 83012, by original designation. Type locality: "Sungai Sepupok, Niah, Fourth Division, Sarawak, Borneo", Malaysia.

Distribution
Scattered localities in northern Borneo in Brunei, Kalimantan (Indonesia) and Sabah and Sarawak (Malaysia), below 500 m elevation.
