Limnonectes kiziriani Pham, Le, Ngo, Ziegler, and Nguyen, 2018, Zootaxa, 4508: 117. Holotype: IEBR 4343, by original designation. Type locality: "the evergreen forest near Sao La Ranger Station 16006.720’N, 107027.195’E, at an elevation of 485 m asl.), Sao La Nature Reserve, A Luoi District, Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam".

In Quang Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum provinces, central Vietnam; expected in adjacent Laos. 


In the Limnonectes kuhlii group according to the original publication. Pham, Phan, Do, and Nguyen, 2019, Tap-Chi-Sinh-Hoc, 41 (2se1&2se2): 171–172, reported a collection site in Kon Tum province, Vietnam, and described the specimens, provided a photograph and ecological notes, and summarized the range in Vietnam by province.
