Distribution

Known from Paginatan, Ranau District, 120 m elevation, and  Poring, Kinabalu National Park, Sabah, 400 m elevation, Malaysia.

Natural Resident: Malaysia, Malaysia, East (Sarawak and/or Sabah)

Comment

Equivalent to Limnonectes sp. Lineage 11 of Matsui, Kuraishi, Eto, Hamidy, Nishikawa, Shimada, Yambun Imbun, Vairappan, and Hossman, 2016, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 102: 308, according to Matsui, Nishikawa, Shimada, Eto, Hamidy, Sudin, Hossman, Gumal, and Vairappan, 2024, Curr. Herpetol., Kyoto, 43: 254, who provided an account detailing comparative morphology, molecular markers, natural history, and distribution.
