Distribution

Lowland and submontane rainforest in central and eastern Sarawak (Lambir Hills National Park, Gunung Mulu National Park, Gunung Dulit National Park, Bukit Kana National Park, Long Unai, Nanga Tekalit), Malaysia, between 50 and 1000 m elevation.

Comment

In the Limnonectes palavanensis group and formerly confused with that species, according to the original publication, where comparative molecular markers, morphology, morphometrics, and advertisement call were detailed.
