Distribution
Known from Lam Dong Province (Di Linh and Duc Trong), southern Vietnam; populations possibly of this species but requiring genetic confirmation as far north as Gia Lai Province (Vietnam), west as far as Monulkiri Province (eastern Cambodia), and as far south as Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.

Comment
The sister taxon of Limnonectes poilani according to the original publication, where molecular markers (16S mtDNA) and comparative morphology were detailed.
