Kerala Skittering Frog (original designation).
Distribution
Currently known only from the ponds adjacent to the river tributaries of the Periyar river in the lower elevations in the surroundings of the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary, south of the Palghat Gap in the Western Ghats, Kerala, India.
Comment
In the Euphlyctis hexadactylus group and the sister taxon of Euphlyctis aloysii, according to the original publication, where external morphology, morphometrics, molecular markers, and natural history were described.
