Common Names

Distribution
Currently known from the semi-urbanized agricultural area around Budumanahalli (village), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, 850 m elevation.

Comment
In the Sphaerotheca breviceps group and the sister taxon of Sphaerotheca pashchima (now = Sphaerotheca maskeyi) according to the original publication. The sister taxon of Sphaerotheca maskeyi according to Jablonski, Masroor, and Hofmann, 2021, Diversity, 13 (216): 4.
