Distribution

Known from the type locality (near Wari Chora, Agalgre, South Garo Hills, 110 m elevation, Meghalaya) and Mawlynnong village (540 m elevation), Khasi hills, Meghalaya, India, to Cox's Bazaar District, Bangladesh, 1500–3000 m elevation

Comment

Comparative morphology and molecular markers (16S mtDNA) reported in the original publication, where it was noted that this species had previously been confused with Ingerana borealis. Records of Ingerana borealis from south of the Brahmaputra River presumably now apply to this species. See comment under Ingerana borealis
