Gastrotheca atympana Duellman, Lehr, Rodríguez, and von May, 2004, Sci. Pap. Nat. Hist. Mus. Univ. Kansas, 32: 2. Holotype: MUSM 18692, by original designation. Type locality: "Pampa Hermosa (10° 59′ 33.3 S, 75° 25′ 58.0 W), 1540 m, Provincia de Tarma, Departamento de Junín, Peru".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality at an elevation of 1540 m in the valley of the Río Chanchamayo, in dense humid montane forest, Provincia de Tarma, Departamento de Junín, Peru.
