Distribution

Endemic to Peru, where it is Known only from the type locality (María, 3434 m elevation., Colcamar District, Luya province, Amazonas department, Peru) in the grasslands of the northern portion of the Central Peruvian Andes in the Utcubamba river basin in Amazonas departmentin the Peruvian Yungas ecoregion.

Comment

In the Gastrotheca marsupiata species group according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, osteology, and molecular markers were detailed.
