Gastrotheca christiani Laurent, 1967, Acta Zool. Lilloana, 22: 354. Holotype: FML 01369 (in error; actually FML 00482 according to Lavilla and Kretzschmar, 1998, Acta Zool. Lilloana, 44: 222). Type locality: "más or menos a 50 km de Calilegua a lo largo de la ruta de Valla Grante, Provincia de Jujuy", Argentina.

Distribution

Mid-elevational (1550–2600 m elevation) slopes of Andes (Sierra de Callilegua, Provincia de Jujuy, and Sierra de Porongal, Provincia de Salta) in northern Argentina.
