Known only from the summit of the Cordillera de Colan, at elevations of 3130 to 3180 m elevation, in yungas vegetation, Amazonas department, Utcubamba province, Cajaruro district, Peru.

Comment

In the Gastrotheca marsupiata species group, as the sister of Gastrotheca oresbios, according to the original publication, where the molecular phylogenetics, external morphology, and osteology were described.
