Gastrotheca orophylax Duellman and Pyles, 1980, Occas. Pap. Mus. Nat. Hist. Univ. Kansas, 84: 5. Holotype: KU 164243, by original designation. Type locality: "11 km (by road) east-south-east of Papallacta, 2660 m, Provincia Napo, Ecuador".

Distribution

Upper Amazonian slopes of eastern Andes in Ecuador (Sucumbio, Imbabura, and Carchi provinces) and eastern slope of the Nudo de Pasto in Colombia (Nariño and Putumayo departments), 2600–3100 m elevation.
