Stefania coxi MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2002, Herpetologica, 58: 336. Holotype: ROM 39477, by original designation. Type locality: "northeast plateau of Mount Ayanganna, Guyana, (05° 24′ N, 059° 57′ W) elevation 1550 m".

Common Names

Cox's Stefania (MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2006, Cat. Am. Amph. Rept., 826: 1).

Distribution

Known from the type locality (Mount Ayanganna, 05° 24′ N, 059° 57′ W, elevation 1490–1550 m), and Mount Wokomung in the Pakaraima Mountains, Guyana.

Comment

In the Stefania goini group according to the original publication: MacCulloch, Lathrop and Khan, 2006, Phyllomedusa: 31-41, reported on the specimens from the Mount Wokomung, Guyana. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2006, Cat. Am. Amph. Rept., 826: 1-2, reviewed the species.
