Forested lowlands of west-central Guyana.

Comment

In the Stefania evansi group. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2002, Herpetologica, 58: 341–342, discussed the species and provided additional records in Guyana. MacCulloch, Lathrop, and Khan, 2006, Phyllomedusa, 5: 31–41, reported on the specimens from the Mount Wokomung, Guyana. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2006, Cat. Am. Amph. Rept., 827: 1–3, reviewed the species. Kok and Kalamandeen, 2008, Intr. Taxon. Amph. Kaieteur Natl. Park: 154–155, provided an account. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2009, R. Ontario Mus. Contrib.
