Distribution
Mount Roraima, Mount Ayanganna, and Mount Wokomung, Guyana; presumably in adjacent Venezuela and Brazil.

Comment
In the Stefania evansi group. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2002, Herpetologica, 58: 338-341, discussed the species. MacCulloch, Lathrop, and Khan, 2006, Phyllomedusa, 5: 31-41, reported on the specimens from the Mount Wokomung, Guyana. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2006, Cat. Am. Amph. Rept., 828: 1-2, reviewed the species. MacCulloch and Lathrop, 2009, R. Ontario Mus. Contrib. Sci., 4: 13, commented on specimens from Mount Ayanganna, Guyana. See Cole, Townsend, Reynolds, MacCulloch, and Lathrop, 2013, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 125: 397-398, for brief account and records for Guyana. Kok, Russo, Ratz, Means, MacCulloch, Lathrop, Aubret, and Bossuyt, 2017, J. Biogeograph., 44: 170–181, noted several unnamed species covered by this species name.
