Restricted to Canelos, Ecuador, by lectotype designation of Parker, 1933, Trop. Agric., Trinidad, 10: 8.

Distribution

Ecuador (Morona Santiago, Napo, Orellana, Pastaza, Sucumbíos and Zamora Chinchipe provinces), Brazil (Amazonas, Pará and Rondônia states) and Colombia (Putumayo Province), elevations of 14 to 1050 m.
