Boana cordobae (Barrio, 1965)
Hyla pulchella cordobae Barrio, 1965, Physis, Buenos Aires, 25: 121. Syntypes: CHINM 99, 75/292-294, by original designation. In an addendum Barrio, 1966, Physis, Buenos Aires, 26: 202, considered CHINM 99 as holotype, a lectotype designation formalized by Langone and Lavilla, 2002, Cuad. Herpetol., 16: 74. Now in MACN. Type locality: "Santa Rosa de Calamuchita, [Departamento de] Córdoba", Argentina.

In the Hypsiboas pulchellus group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 87-88. Kolenc, Borteiro, Alcalde, Baldo, Cardozo, and Faivovich, 2008, Zootaxa, 1927: 1–66, reported on larval morphology. Baraquet, Salas, and Martino, 2013, Acta Zool. Bulgarica, 65: 479–486, reported on the advertisement call. Baraquet, Grenat, Salas, and Martino, 2015, Acta Ethol., 18: 79–86, reported on geographic variation in the advertisement all (as Hypsiboas cordobae).
