Hypsiboas jaguariaivensis Caramaschi, Cruz, and Segalla, 2010, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 5: 170. Holotype: MHNCI 4635, by original designation. Type locality: "Parque Estadual do Cerrado (24° 10′ S, 49° 40′ W, 659 m altitude), Municipality of Jaguariaíva, State of Paraná, Brazil".

Distribution

Known only from Parque Estadual do Cerrado, Municipality of Jaguariaíva, and the Municipality of Piraí do Sul, Paraná, Brazil, in remnant cerrado vegetation.

Comment

In the Hypsiboas polytaenius clade of the Hypsiboas pulchellus group, according to the original publication. Guerra Batista, Lingnau, and Bastos, 2017, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 12: 34–41,  reported on vocalizations. Mello, Gonçalves, Rossa-Feres, and Conte, 2021, Zootaxa, 5047: 495–500, reported on larval external morphology as well as oral cavity morphology.
