Distribution

Known from (1) Araipuanã and (2) Apiacás, Mato Grosso, (3) Nova Colina, Rondônia, and (4) Juruti and (5) Itaituba, Pará, Brazil; also reported from Yucuma, Los Lagos, Bolivia.

In the Hyla albopunctata group according to the original publication. In the Hypsiboas albopunctatus group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 86. Pansonato, Ávila, Kawashita-Ribeiro, and Morais, 2011, Salamandra, 47: 55–58, reported on the advertisement call and provided a range map of the species. Fouquet, Marinho, Réjaud, Carvalho, Caminer, Jansen, Rainha, Rodrigues, Werneck, Lima, Hrbek, Giaretta, Venegas, Chávez, and Ron, 2021, Syst. Biodiversity, 19: Appendix 5, provided the record from Yucum, Los Lagos, Bolivia. Cassundé, Sturaro, Maciel, Prudente, Sarmento, and Peloso, 2022, Bol. Mus. Parense Emilio Goeldi, Cienc. Nat., 17: 445–473, provided the first record for Pará, Brazil, as part of a review of the species of that state.
