Distribution
Amazon basin of Ecuador (provinces of Morona Santiago, Napo, Orellana, Pastaza and Sucumbíos), Peru (Loreto), and Brazil (Estado do Amazonas and Amapá [see comment]), elevation range vary between 64 and 1035 m; likely to extend into southeastern Colombia.

In the Boana semilineata species group according to the original publication, where the call was also detailed. Gagliardi-Urrutia, García Dávila, Jaramillo-Martinez, Rojas-Padilla, Rios-Alva, Aguilar-Manihuari, Pérez-Peña, Castroviejo-Fisher, Simões, Estivals, Guillen Huaman, Castro Ruiz, Angulo Chávez, Mariac, Duponchelle, and Renno, 2022, Anf. Loreto: 96–97, provided a brief account, photograph, dot map, and genetic barcode for Loreto, Peru. Fonseca, Nascimento, Mesquita, Moraes, Almeida, and Bernarde, 2023, Herpetol. Rev., 54: 240, provided a record (photo voucher only) from the Municipality of Tarauacá, Acre, Brazil.
