Distribution
High elevations in pine-fir forest in the Sierra Madre Oriental and the Cordillera Volcanica along the southern edge of the Mexican Plateau (Michoacan, Morelos, Mexico, D.F., Tlaxcala, Puebla, Veracruz, and Hidalgo).
