Comment
See account (as Hyla pseudopuma pseudopuma) by Duellman, 1970, Monogr. Mus. Nat. Hist. Univ. Kansas: 263–271. Lips and Savage, 1996, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 109: 17–26, included this species (as Hyla pseudopuma) in a key to the tadpoles found in Costa Rica. In the Isthmohyla pseudopuma group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 103. Köhler, 2011, Amph. Cent. Am.: 236–244, provided a brief summary of natural history for the species of Isthmohyla in Central America and provided a range map and photograph for this species.
