Rev., 33: 222, provided the São Paulo record and commented on the distribution. Canelas and Bertoluci, 2007, Iheringia, Zool., 97: 21-26, provided a record for the Serra do Caraça, southern end of the Serra do Espinhaço, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Magrini, Carvalho-e-Silva, Béda, and Giaretta, 2011, Zootaxa, 3066: 37-51, reported on the advertisement call. Novaes and Zina, 2016, Zootaxa, 4084: 258–266, reported on the advertisement call.
