Sphaenorhynchus bromelicola Bokermann, 1966, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 26: 18. Holotype: WCAB 31941, by original designation; now in MZUSP. Type locality: "Fazenda Santo Onofre, 10 km a leste de Maracás, Bahia, Brasil".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in Bahia, Brazil.

Comment

Similar to Sphaenorhynchus orophilus according to the original publication. Bolovon, Zornosa-Torres, Augusto-Alves, Almeida, Gasparini, and Toledo, 2020, Salamandra, 56: 401–404, described the advertisement call.
