Crossodactylus caramaschii Bastos and Pombal, 1995, Copeia, 1995: 436. Holotype: ZUEC 9190, by original designation. Type locality: "Caverna do Diabo (24° 35′ S; 48° 35′ W, 450 m above sea level), Município de Eldorado, Estado de São Paulo, Brazil".

Southern part of the state of São Paulo, in Atlantic rainforest, south through Paraná to Santa Catarina, southeastern Brazil.

Comment

In the Crossodactylus gaudichaudii group according to the original publication, where adult external morphology and advertisement call were detailed. Toscano, Freitas, Rezende, Provete, Lyra, Haddad, Rossa-Feres, and Silva, 2019, J. Herpetol., 53: 263–271, reported on the external morphology and internal oral features of the larva.
