Hyperolius cystocandicans Richards and Schiøtz, 1977, Copeia, 1977: 285. Holotype: UMMZ 135194, by original designation. Type locality: "Tigoni, 2200 m above sea level", Kenya.

Distribution

Open farmland and grasslands in montane Kenya, east of the Rift Valley from Limuru to Thompson's Falls and east to the Myambeni Mountains, 1600 to 2200 m elevation.

Possibly elated to Hyperolius montanus, Hyperolius alticola, Hyperolius frontalis, Hyperolius castaneus, and Hyperolius discodactylus, according to the original publication.
