Syntpes: RMNH 1767 (according to Gassó Miracle, van den Hoek Ostende, and Arntzen, 2007, Zootaxa, 1482: 39) and MNHNP 4592 (according to Roux-Estève, 1979, Bull. Trim. Soc. Geol. Normandie et Amies Mus. Harve, 66: 26, who considered this specimen the "type", presumably in error. Type locality: "Seychelles". Nomen nudum.
