Leiopelma archeyi Turbott, 1942, Trans. Proc. R. Soc. New Zealand, 71: 248. Holotype: Auckland Mus. (=AIM) AMPH 2.1, by original designation. Type locality: "Tokatea, near Coromandel", Cape Colville Range, New Zealand.

Distribution

Cape Colville Range, Coromandel Peninsula and 140 km to the east in the Whareorino Forest, northern King Country, North Island, New Zealand, 400-1000 m elevation.
